Lovely fair yesterday, in spite of the rotten news. The Hive is a lovely new space for wellbeing, art and craft workshops and events in Ludlow near the library. Run by Denise Beckett. Today included gentle Emma Meredith who offers reiki and Nicola Jane Haigue offering beautiful textile art.

🌸Art Craft and Health Fair. All welcome to pop in. When: Sunday 1st November. Time: 10 to 4. Venue: 6 Parkway – between Ludlow library and Parkway Tasca Bar. Free entry. Covid safe. 🌬️This is a lovely new space. There are also fairs on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th – helping to launch it. It is all organised and run by a lovely, energetic local on site furniture restorer, Denise Beckitt – the brainchild behind it. 🌿She has some really positive ideas – affordable workshop space etc etc so please pop in at some point if you’d like to support the fair and to find out more about whats possible from Denise.
I will have some prints cards and paintings including the little snow queen with me at the fair on Sunday 1st.
It would be lovely to see you!

Work is online in case we are in lockdown. Shropshire Hills offers tea and coffee and lovely walks along the river, so fingers crossed it will be okay!
Green Lady in watercolour and silver ~ Beech, Ferns and oak. This painting will be in ‘A Forest Within’ at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in December.
I’ve just made some prints of this naughty little sprite. They are on archival paper with light fast inks, hand finished with a touch of gold watercolour and signed on the front.
This little mermaid isn’t quite complete. I will keep finished results for a Shropshire Hills exhibition later on this year, but I will add a few snippets of work in progress here and there.
Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre from November 25th 2020 (all being well).
Pinks were requested for this little commemorative painting. If you look closely her brothers’ names are added in the left panel. This felt very special to do. I wanted to get it right. A photograph of a pink rose was sent, her pink rose and it seemed to guide me. Angels wings were requested also. I loved doing it. It’s a privilege to be asked to work on something like this. I think they loved it!
